Message from the President

Greetings!

To say that the past two years of the COVID-19 pandemic have been a challenge is – to say the least – an understatement; yet, we survived. We have lost, we have gained, and we have changed. We have prevailed.

The future is only bright for us at Austral-Asia Link Mining, and 2022 promises to be a year of growth and development, not just for the men and women who are part of our mining endeavors, but more so for our host and partner communities.

2022 will not be without its challenges, what with the continuation of the global pandemic, but this will not faze us. Our plans for the near future will be to establish a smelting plant that processes the Nickel Ore; this will contribute greatly to the local economy by creating jobs, and also help the development of the community’s earning potentials. The processed Nickel Ore will feed into a number of downstream industries for different products such as stainless steel, increasing and extending the economic benefit of the locale as well as the country.

We are bullish about the outlook of this project.

I have mentioned repeatedly our host and partner communities. We would not be here without them, and they are as vital an element in our operation as the Nickel we extract.

We have always been staunch supporters of our host and partner communities through our socio-civic projects, particularly those in education, infrastructure, agriculture, and human resource development.

We are committed to the environment as well, and pride ourselves in our social and environmental responsibility and compliance to the government’s environmental policies.

This is our thrust and is beyond just an obligation.

This our commitment. To our people, our stakeholders, our communities, and our country.
