How We Care: Culture

We choose to be more than just a part of our communities’ economies; we choose to be a part of their lives.

Every year we are a major sponsor of community and barangay fiestas and celebrations such as the Pujada Festival in June and the Sambuokan Festival in October. We are also regular supporters of the Foundation Days of our two host barangays.

Among our cultural projects are:

• Financial assistance in support of fiestas and celebrations of patron saints.
• Construction of the Dawan Church through a donation of over P600,000 worth of steel bars; and the renovation and repair of community chapels.
• Participation in community festivals that showcase local handicrafts and livelihood projects.
• Regular and timely payment of local government taxes
• Assistance and full funding support in the delineation of Mt. Hamiguitan Protected Area (P1.6M) and boundary delineation for Mandaya ancestral domain (P450,000). We provided this to help protect environment and the domain of the tribe.
