How We Care: Infrastructure

Building infrastructure in the community is as much a part of our work as building infrastructure for our mining operations.

Aside from building and concretizing roads and bridges, we have also undertaken the development of other public works that will provide a long-term benefit to the local communities such as piers, causeways, and systems for sanitation, water, communication, education, and health.

Among our key community projects are:

• Construction and development of jetmatic pumps and waterlines to provide running water to small villages
• Repair and rehabilitation of non-functional jetmatic pumps servicing hundreds of families in the Brgy Macambol
• Provision of over 1,000 meters of PVC pipes for potable water supply to households
• Support for the construction of a lavatory in Wagon Elementary School which helps maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and hygiene for the school children
