HMC Implements Water System Project in Sitio Magum, Brgy. Macambol

Hallmark Mining Corporation successfully implemented a water system project in Sitio Magum, Barangay Macambol, City of Mati, Davao Oriental, to improve access to safe and reliable water for the community. The project was completed and officially turned over on May 28, 2024, under the company’s Assistance to Infrastructure Development and Support Services program.

The initiative aims to enhance public health, improve sanitation, and support daily household and livelihood activities by providing a sustainable water source. Through close coordination with the local government and active participation of community members, the project promotes long-term sustainability and shared ownership.

The water system has brought immediate relief to residents, reducing the time spent fetching water and lowering health risks associated with unsafe water sources. Beyond health benefits, the project also supports economic activities and strengthens community cooperation.
