Macambol IP Women Join Cultural and Educational Tour to Sangab, Caraga

Hallmark Mining Corporation continues to champion Indigenous Peoples’ empowerment with the successful conduct of the IP Cultural Educational Tour for Mandaya women from Barangay Macambol. Held on September 16, 2025, the initiative brought participants to Sangab, Caraga, a well-known cultural hub of the Mandaya people.

During the visit, the women were given the opportunity to immerse in the customs and living traditions of their fellow Mandaya community—observing cultural practices, engaging with elders, and learning about rituals, weaving, storytelling, and the preservation of ancestral heritage. The experience deepened their understanding of their identity and strengthened the cultural bonds among Mandaya communities across the province.
