HMC Supports Brgy. Macambol Students with New School Bus

Hallmark Mining Corporation reinforced its commitment to improving access to education with the provision of a ₱4.8 million school bus to Barangay Macambol, which was officially turned over on September 20, 2025. This initiative addresses the long-standing transportation challenges faced by students living in the farthest residential areas of the community.

Barangay Macambol has only one high school, located approximately 18 kilometers from its most remote households. Every day, students endure long and difficult travel just to attend classes—an obstacle that often affects attendance, safety, and overall academic performance. The newly provided school bus, capable of accommodating more than 30 high school students, offers a safe, reliable, and consistent means of transportation for learners who previously had limited options.

Through this investment, Hallmark Mining Corporation continues to strengthen its support for education by ensuring that distance is no longer a barrier to learning. The provision of the school bus not only eases the daily burden of commuting for students but also reinforces the company’s dedication to uplifting the youth and improving the quality of life in its host communities.
