HMC Constructs and Turns Over Teachers' Cottage in Magum

Hallmark Mining Corporation strengthened its support for educators in remote communities with the construction and turnover of a ₱500,000.00 Teachers’ Cottage for Magum Elementary School. Implemented under its Social Development and Management Program (SDMP), the project provides a safe, functional, and comfortable facility for teachers serving in this upland area of Barangay Macambol.

The cottage, which was turned over on September 22, 2025, offers a much-needed space for educators who face long travel distances and challenging terrain on their way to school. With this dedicated facility, teachers can now rest, prepare lessons, and perform school-related tasks more efficiently helping ease daily difficulties and enabling them to better serve their learners.

Teachers and school officials expressed their appreciation for the project, noting the significant improvement it brings to their working conditions. Through initiatives like this, Hallmark Mining Corporation continues to invest in meaningful infrastructure that supports both educators and students, reinforcing its commitment to the education sector in its host communities.
