Emergency Road Repair in Barangays Macambol and Cabuaya

Hallmark Mining Corporation provided support for emergency road repair works in Barangays Macambol and Cabuaya, City of Mati, Davao Oriental, following the landslides and flash floods that occurred in February 2024.

The heavy rainfall caused significant damage to local road infrastructure, including washed-out sections, blocked culverts, and landslides that rendered key access roads impassable—particularly in Sitio Punta Silad. Immediate response was critical to restore basic connectivity and ensure the safety of residents.

Through coordinated efforts with local authorities and community volunteers, heavy equipment was mobilized to clear debris, stabilize affected areas, and reopen vital road passages. The road repair works helped improve access for residents, emergency services, and livelihood activities.
