HMC Distributes Cacao Nursery Establishment Kits to Farmers in Brgy. Macambol

Hallmark Mining Corporation implemented the Cacao Nursery Establishment Kits Distribution on May 3, 2024, benefiting 20 farmer-beneficiaries (Batch 1) in Barangay Macambol as part of its Human Resource Development and Institutional Building initiatives.

The activity included the handover of cacao nursery kits, distribution of training modules and guides on cacao nursery management, and the awarding of certificates to participants. The project was initiated in response to the growing demand for high-quality cacao and the need to diversify agricultural livelihood opportunities in the community.

By providing technical training, resources, and continuous support, the initiative aims to establish a sustainable cacao farming system and strengthen farmers’ capacities. The project marks an important step toward improving agricultural productivity and transforming the local agricultural landscape in Barangay Macambol.
