Balik Eskwela Distribution of School Bags and Supplies
As the school bells ring in another academic year, Hallmark Mining Corporation reaffirms its steadfast commitment to education by equipping thousands of students in its host communities with essential school supplies. Under its Social Development and Management Program (SDMP), the annual Balik Eskwela initiative aims to support 2,805 learners across the barangays of Macambol and Cabuaya, ensuring that no child enters the new school year unprepared and emphasizing education as a vital cornerstone of community development.
The first phase of distribution began on June 17, 2025, at Macambol National High School, followed by Macambol Elementary School later that day. On June 18, supply kits were delivered to Wagon Elementary School, Catmonan Elementary School, and Magum Elementary School, completing the rollout in Barangay Macambol. The effort continued on July 7, 2025, with Cabuaya Integrated School receiving its school supplies, along with the neighboring Talucanga Elementary School in Barangay Luban.
Each student received a complete set of learning materials tailored to their grade level, easing the financial burden on families and providing a strong foundation for the school year ahead. Through this sustained initiative, Hallmark Mining Corporation reinforces its long-standing commitment to uplifting its host and neighboring communities, fostering shared responsibility and continued support for the education sector.
